I just want to know how Artemis reacted when Holly told him that she “could not do without [him].” He was previously smiling at her and I would have loved to have seen (I mean, read) if he had any sort of visible reaction to her statement. Like, did Holly wait a second to see how Artemis took her comment and did she then feel that the next natural course of action would be to kiss him or did she almost immediately lean down and kiss him after her confession? Like did it just feel right? (Of course!?) I had not previously thought a lot about Artemis’s interpretation of Holly’s words. And did he ever take a moment to think about his “adolescent confusion about Holly” and/or did he ever go through that memory and just think, “What did she mean by that?” Also, I want to know how the kiss was~~ Was Artemis hesitant at first or was he as completely engaged as Holly was for the entire duration of the kiss? How did their lips feel against the other person’s lips? What were their tongues doing? What were their hands doing? How did their bodies/torsos feel against each other? Was Holly practically on top of him or? What did they think of the “tiny fireworks”? What was going on in their minds? Did they ever think that what they were doing was ~wrong~ (ahhhh human/elf, young person/~~old~~ person!?) while they were kissing or did they not give a fuck because everything was just the two of them and nothing hurt? Did they think—even for a moment—that they could go on to develop a romantic relationship even while being aware of every thing and everyone that would be against them? Was a romantic relationship even imaginable? Plausible? I mean we know that Artemis was “in a dreamlike trance” but what was that like and did Holly experience a dreamlike trance of her own? I need ALL THE DETAILS. EOIN, YOU COULD WRITE A WHOLE BOOK ON THIS MOMENT AND INCLUDE INTERVIEWS WITH ARTEMIS AND HOLLY AND WHAT THEY THOUGHT OF THEIR KISS. AND HAVE ARTEMIS DESCRIBE HOW HIS FIRST KISS WENT BECAUSE I ASSUME HOLLY WAS THE FIRST FEMALE HE HAD EVER KISSED IN THE MOUTH, OKAY. LIKE, I KINDA WANT THIS CONFIRMED BY EOIN BUT I AM TOO AFRAID TO ASK BECAUSE IF HE SAYS NO I WILL BE A LITTLE UPSET. AND I ASSUME ARTEMIS IS THE FIRST MUD BOY HOLLY’S EVER SNOGGED SO YES.
